Michael E. Smith Endowment for Excellence in Education Goal

The goal of the Board of the Michael E. Smith Endowment for Excellence in Education is the creation of a non-profit, charitable endowment, under which principal remains intact in perpetuity.

This endowment will generate an annual income stream to be distributed to the school district through Board approved grants, proposed by individual teachers and administrators.

The Board will award funds with careful consideration of the purpose, scope and potential educational impact of each proposal submitted. Care will be given to insure that funds are divided across all grade levels, whenever possible.
